Kari and Nelson’s wedding at The Waterview, Monroe, CT.

Kari & Nelson's Wedding First Dance

Kari and Nelson’s wedding day was relaxed, full of laughter and happiness. The ceremony and Celebration was held at The Waterview in Monroe, CT.

The early morning rain cleared and John from John Munno Weddings was able to capture the first look photos before the ceremony. The outdoor ceremony took place at the Waterview overlooking Lake Zoar the views were picture perfect! The Bride walked down the aisle to “When You Love A Woman” by Journey. Kari and Nelson’s wedding ceremony was sentimental and officiated by Justice of the Peace Betty Allard. They had a lovely unity sand ceremony to symbolize the joining of their hearts. The guests broke out into applause after they shared their first kiss as husband and wife and they exited the ceremony hand in hand to “Over the Rainbow.”

Cocktail hour followed the ceremony with delicious food prepared and served by The Waterview. The reception tables were decorated with beautiful sunflower bouquets created by Bethany Florist and Gift Shop. We set up the LOVE letters at the head of the Dance floor and they were the perfect focal point. Kari and Nelson entered the reception and shared a first dance to “You’re the Inspiration” by Chicago. You could feel the love and admiration between them.

We meant it when we said the wedding was full of laughter. Kari and Nelson played The Shoe Game, which is always a blast for the couple and guests as well as suitable for all ages. The couple requested a scavenger hunt musical chairs, for the centerpiece give away, the guests certainly enjoyed themselves both at their tables and on the dance floor! The couple shared the last dance surrounded by their family and friends to a timeless song “Don’t Stop Believin‘” by Journey.

Thank you, Kari and Nelson, for including us in your day!
