Kristen and Miguel met working at Target they had no idea that 6.5 years later they would be saying “I Do”. We had a great time talking with them about their dream day. They are laid back and know how to have fun.
They had their ceremony and reception at The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel. We set up a mic for Father Bernard and they had violinists play during their ceremony, it was beautiful. Father Bernard invited all 140 guests to cocktail hour where we played acoustic music.
We introduced the wedding party to “I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas and Kristen and Miguel came in to “Marry you”. We set the tone for their first dance as husband and wife, a dance that would stand out from all the other dances they shared. Kristen noted that all their other dancing was not that great and everyone had a good laugh. Miguel serenaded Kristen during their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” sung by Haley Reinhart. (They danced beautifully!)
Dinner was served and between courses, they thanked their parents. “You’re the Inspiration” was her parent’s wedding song and Kristen and Miguel dedicated it to them. The Maid of Honor and the two Best Men gave a Toast, and the newlyweds took some time to thank all their family and friends. We played music by Billy Idol, Toby Keith, and Neil diamond as Dinner was served.
The rest of the evening was full of dancing and laughter. We ended the night with “The Time” by The Black Eyed Peas. It was a fantastic celebration. We can’t wait to see the photos Cara from Picture This took and the video by Carlos from Custom Made Video. It’s always a seamless event working with Cara and Carlos.
Thank you, Kristen and Miguel it was an absolute pleasure!!
