When we met Lisa and Eric we knew we were going to witness an amazing wedding. They are both Portuguese and we had plenty of Portuguese music ready for them. They choose Anthony’s Ocean View for the ceremony and wedding celebration. Lisa had her hair done by Studio Central, they then did Eric’s hair and the makeup and hair for the bridal party and family. Lisa had her makeup done by LA Page Makeup while the bridal party had their finishing touches. Eric and the Dog of Honor waited under the gazebo outside of Anthony’s Lake Club before the ceremony began.
The weather was perfect, as the guests walked over to the beach ceremony sight they were able to grab a pair of sunglasses and flip-flops, it was a really nice touch! Adrienne from Redefined Elegance was the event planner and she did an amazing job from beginning to end, we loved working with her! We played contemporary instrumental music as the guests arrived and when the ceremony began we played the classic “Cannon in D” as the bride entered with her parents. They had a beautiful ceremony officiated by Diane Marion who pronounced them Husband and Wife. They were beaming as they walked down the aisle to “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, it was magical.
Guests were invited to cocktail hour as the newlyweds had their photos taken by Keely Abigail Photography. You can see all the amazing photos of their day here. Guests made their way to the ballroom for dinner and noticed the beautiful floral arrangements by Guilford White House Florist. We have to mention the centerpieces, which had fish inside of them, the fish were named after Game Of Thrones characters, and it was a definite talking point! We began the reception by introducing the Grandparents of the groom and both the parents of the bride and groom to “Saturday Night Fever”. The flower girl walked in with the Best Man, who was her father, and the Maid of Honor to “Baby Shark”. Everyone stood as we introduced Eric and Lisa to the Game of Thrones opening credits song. (Can you tell they are big GOT fans?) They shared the first dance, surrounded by family, to “É Isso AĂ (The Blower’s Daughter)”. Dinner followed and we played classic songs like Frank Sinatra as guests enjoyed their meals.
The cutting of the cake followed and we played “How Sweet It Is (to be loved by you)”. The cake was delicious Sugar Bakery did a wonderful job. Parent dances followed and the dance floor opened up with some Portuguese music, we played great hits like, “Balada”, “No Diggity”, “Blurred Lines”, “Ain’t too Proud To Beg” and “Ai Se Eu Te Pego”. Everyone was dancing and laughing, Eric and Lisa have an amazing family. We played “Last Dance” to wrap up the evening and send Lisa and Eric to the sparkler finale!
Thank you to all the amazing vendors; this was no red wedding! (haha) Congratulations to Lisa and Eric, you deserved an amazing day and we were so happy to be part of it!Â
